Government of Telangana should break the silence on Alair encounter and take Muslims into confidence. Deputy Chief Minister should speak to government and bring the facts about Alair encounter before Muslims. There is need to suspend 12 police officers with immediate effect. Muslims of Telangana reject SIT enquiry and demand investigation by CBI or sitting judge. These views were expressed by the speakers at a grand public meeting held against Alair encounter at Baragali Chauraha, Husaini Alam.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Maulana Hamed Husain Shuttari Sunni Ulama Board. Mr. Mohammed Mushtaq Malik president Tahreek Muslim Shabban presented a resolution which was passed amidst the echoes of Nara-e-Takbeer.
Addressing on the occasion Maulana Naseeruddin president Wahdat-e-Islami said ‘case is booked on the hunting of a black deer, compensation is collected on hitting a bull but no action is taken in Telangana state on the killing of 5 Muslim youth.
President Tahreek Muslim Shabban told that political parties of Telangana and Muslim leaders had faced defeat in the battle for justice on the issue of killing of 5 Muslim youth in an encounter. He claimed that every single Muslim in Telangana was restless due to the current situation; security of lives of Muslims had emerged as the major issue. Opression and rule can’t go together, Pharaoh, Shaddad, Hitler all met their end, he added.
