Mr. Mahmood Ali, Maulana Hafez Peer Shabbir Ahmed, Alhaj Mohammed Saleem, Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Mr. Mohammed Farooq Husain took oath in Urdu in the name of Allah in Telangana Legislative Council. As member of first legislative Council of Telangana, these MLCs took the oath of office and secrecy in their mother tongue Urdu in the name of Allah.
Two MIM members of legislative council Mr. Syed Ameenul Hasan Jaffery and Mr. Syed Altaf Hyder Razvi also took oath of office in the name of Allah. 2 MIM members of legislative council took oath in English language while other MLAs took oath in the name of God in Telugu language.
