Muslim ministers not likely to be more than one in the new cabinet

Hyderabad, November 29: Government of Andhra Pradesh is geared up to form new cabinet on Wednesday. Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has finalized the list of cabinet members after consulting Congress high command which will be announced on Wednesday. It is said that it has been tried to give representation to all the districts of the state.

Jagan group and YSR loyalists have also been taken into consideration while finalizing the list of cabinet members.

The names of D. Sridhar Babu, Panala Laxmayya, G Venkat Ramna Reddy, P. Sudarshan, P Uttam Kumar, Sabitha Indra Reddy, J Krishna, G. Aruna Kumari, Md. Ahmedullah, A Pratap Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao, S. Vijayarama Raju, B Satyanarayana, V Vasant Kumar, T Satyanarayana, K P Sarthi are believed to have been cleared.

Mrs J Geeta Reddy is likely to be made either speaker or deputy chief minister.

It is said that though it is being considered to add another Muslim minister but it has not been decided so far. But from the circumstances generated it seems that Congress high command at present is not in a mood to increase Muslim figure in the cabinet.
