Hyderabad, August 24: In a heartrending accident a Muslim man was killed on the spot when he was hit by a train. A goods train was going to Maulali from Mahboobnagar on Tuesday at 1:40 pm. Near Moghal colony railway crossing a Muslim man aged 45 was hit by the train and died on the spot. His head was severed from the body. Gateman Yadayya told that although goods train driver had seen him from afar and he did apply brakes, still the train could only stop after crushing the man. Though the gateman immediately informed the police but no one came there to inspect until 3:30 due to which other trains also passed onto the body on short intervals crushing the body repeatedly.
4 trains passed onto the body of the Muslim man till the Siasat’s special correspondents remained there and his body was chopped down into pieces and the brain fell faraway.
Police Shivrampally arrived but went away after taking some snaps. They had to say that they could do nothing since it was railway police case.
The hair-raising sight of the accident was tear-jerking still the negligence of railway police is inexplicable.
