According to a press note issued by Mr. Rizwan Asad, Coordinator of All India Muslim League, Karnataka, a meeting of Muslim League will be held in Bangalore today to finalize the Muslim League candidates to contest State Elections to be held on 5th May 2013.
The meeting would be presided over by the senior National General Secretary of Muslim League, Mr. Abdus Sattar Mujahid at 10 am. today.
Conveners from various districts of Karnataka and the applicants for Muslim League tickets have been invited to attend the meeting.
Mr. Shaik Abdur Rahman has already been sent to Bangalore as the Central observer. Mr. Abdus Sattar Mujahid and Me. Syed Mustafa Quadri have proceeded to Bangalore.
They are in contact with the leaders of other political parties.
Mr. Syed Mustafa Quadri will distribute B forms to the selected candidates. He will finalize the names of the candidates from Gulbarga, Bidar and Raichur on 15th April in Hyderabad.
