Muslim MLA’s and MLC’s are displeased for neglecting them in the formation of State cabinet and in nominating the whip. They are also perturbed for the non-inclusion of Muslim members on the House Committee to probe allotment of Wakf and Govt. land.
State Cabinet was expanded three times but the representation of Muslim ministers has not been increased. Mastan Wali and Shahjehan Begum are being neglected on the pretext that they are the junior MLA’s. Congress has another senior Muslim leader in Legislative Council. Mr. Padmaraju who was elected for the first time was made whip and PR member was also made whip but Muslim members were neglected. Mr. Farooq Husain and Govt. is giving credit to MIM for the works done by Govt.
