Miss Zainab Farah, daughter of Ghouse Mohammed of Nalgonda got eight gold medals and created a record of excellent educational standard in Nalgonda. She has become the first girl candidate who obtained eight gold medals in the 56 year history of Nalgonda.
She got 89.9% marks in Botany and 88.8% marks in BSc (Life Science). In addition to this, she obtained first position in MBA of this district by securing 74% marks. She also qualified National Eligibility Test held recently.
A felicitation function was organized by District Administration at Nagarjuna Degree College. The function was attended by District Collector, Mr. Mukteshwara Rao, V.C. of Mahatma Gandhi University, Dr. Narasimha Reddy and VC of Kakatiya University Dr. Venkataratnam.
She had secured 511 marks and in Intermediate she got 907 marks. She told that she is indebted to her parents for encouraging her in her studies. She aspires to appear for Civil Services examination next year.
