A Muslim organisation of Rajasthan today demanded reconstruction of mosque at its original site in Ayodhya and action against those who demolished the Babri Masjid in 1992. Rajasthan Muslim Forum staged a demonstration to mark the 20th anniversary of the demolition and held a ‘Dua’ (prayer) on M D Road, and passed resolutions demanding reconstruction of the mosque at the site, punishment to those who were involved in the demolition and those too who were mentioned in the Liberhan Commission report. “It has been 20 years since the demolition of the mosque but the persons responsible for the act are at still at large. The government has failed to take any strong action which is unfortunate,” Kari Moinuddin, the convener of the forum said. “It is matter of great concern not only for Muslims but all peace-loving people”, he said.
