Musicians to add pulsating vibe to India Bike Week

New Delhi: The forthcoming edition of India Bike Week, scheduled to take place at Vagator beach in Goa starting February 19, will feature 11 music artistes from across India.

Conceptualised and initiated in 2013 by Seventy Event Media Group and Fox Life, the event will put together a musical line-up that will have genres as varied as classic rock, blues, retro, organic grooves, soul/funk, hip hop and EDM, according to a statement.

Some of the artistes and bands who will perform at the festival are Girish & The Chronicles, the Indian hard rock/heavy metal band from Gangtok, Sikkim; Soulmate, a blues rock band from Shillong; The Other People, a band from Mumbai who perform everything from rock and pop to rock n’ roll, blues and reggae, and even a few retro tunes.

There will also be Rodney Branigan, a multi-talented musician who performs progressive folk fusion, acoustic rock, and Texan blue; Bengaluru-based band Thaalavattam; and also Elektrovertz DJ, a female DJ duo based out of Mumbai.
