To apply for University Instrumental Scholarships, a candidate must –
Be a player of any instrument
Typically have gained a merit or distinction at Grade 8 (or equivalent) on their instrument
Be expected to commit to playing in one or more of the ensembles run by the student societies, for many scholars, this will be the orchestra, but may also be the big band, wind band, or another group.
To apply for Joint Choral Scholarships, a candidate –
Should be an experienced choral singer
Must possess good aural skills and sight singing capability
Eligibility: Undergraduate students
