The Musheerabad police here today registered cases against their police personnel for indiscriminately beating four youths, who allegedly created ruckus on the road under the influence of liquor on Monday midnight.
3Vasu, one among the four youths and an NRI, lodged a complaint through online to Central Zone DCP Kamalasan Reddy on the issue. Responding to the complaint, Kamalasan Reddy brought the complaint to the notice of City Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy, who in turn, ordered the police to initiate action immediately.
Following the City Police Commissioner’s orders, Musheerabad Sub-Inspector Bhasker registered a case against SIs Saikumar and Sampath along with 12 constables, who were facing allegations in the case. (NSS)
