Makkah: Museum at Makka Clock Tower has been opened for the Haj Pilgrims. The four-storey museum will welcome the tourists for the entire month of Ramadan.
On its first floor, Galaxy has been depicted and determination of Time and the rotations of planets in the Galaxy have been explained. It also has the largest clock in the world.
On the 2nd floor of the tower, the production of the clocks in various ages has been shown.
On the third floor, various secrets of Galaxy have been shown. The phenomena of solar and lunar eclipses have also been exhibited here.
On the fourth floor, details of space and planets have been given.
The highest point of the Clock Tower is called ‘Sharafa’ from where the pilgrims can watch Makkah City and also the beautiful scene of Haram-e-Shareef (Kaaba).
Due to its height, the Clock Tower can be seen from a distance of 25 km.
