Johannesburg: World number two Andy Murray stormed into the second round of the Wimbledon after defeating compatriot Liam Broady in straight sets on Tuesday.
The two-time Grand Slam champion produced a ruthless performance as he recorded a 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 win over Broady and will next play Taiwan’s Lu Yen-Hsun for a place in the last 32, Sport24 reported.
Murray is aiming to end his frustrating run after losing two successive Grand Slam finals in Melbourne and Paris against world number one Novak Djokovic this season. (ANI)
