London: World number two Andy Murray has retained the services of coach Amelie Mauresmo for the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year, in January.
The two-time Grand Slam champion posted on Facebook, “Nice to have Amelie back in the team out in Dubai. Thanks to Jonas for helping out this year. I enjoyed working with one of the nicest guys on the tour, bring on 2016.”
Mauresmo, who once again joined forces with Murray at his training camp in Dubai, took a break from the sport in order to give birth to her first child in August, the Guardian reported.
The decision means Murray will part ways with Jonas Bjorkman, who filled the void left by Mauresmo’s temporary absence. (ANI)
