The Pahadishareef police has ascertained the identity of a person who was found murdered on Sunday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Brij Mohan, 52, the Deputy Manager at State Bank of India, Malakpet branch. He was a resident of Maruthi Nagar, Champapet. He was identified based on a missing complaint lodged by his wife, M Anitha, at Chaderghat Police Station on November 1 after Brij Mohan failed to return home after leaving the bank on Saturday evening.
The next day, his body was found in a pool of blood on the back side of Omer Colony. The assailants threw a boulder on his head resulting in his death. His hands were tied with a rope and a tape was wrapped on his face. Police have intensified the investigation, according to Inspector P Venkateshwarlu said. (INN)
