Murder case solved

Kodanda Reddy of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh was arrested by Mahadevapura police in connection with the murder of a senior citizen who was found strangled to death at her resident in B Narayanapura in the City.

About 100 gram gold jewellery belonging to Kondamma was recovered by the police from Reddy.
Kondamma was staying alone on the ground floor of her son Srinivasulu’s house. He lived on the first floor.

Based on the investigations, it was found that Reddy was working as a construction labourer and often visited the City on work.

As per Police, he used to visit his elder cousin Kondamma who helped him monetarily as he was in deep debt.

On January 28, Reddy request Kondamma for money to repay his debt and his children’s school fees. When she turn down his request, he murdered her and made away with her jewellery, police said.
