Muradabadi gang of robbers held in Delhi

Delhi Police today claimed to have busted a gang of robbers with the arrest of five people. The police in a statement said the gang used to commit robberies while moving from one city to another in quick succession. Davender alias Munshi, 30, Parminder alias PK, 33, Sandeep alias Tony alias Rahul, 24, Visheshwar alias Kalwa aged, 52 and Daleep alias Gholu alias Shashi, 35, are from Muradabad, Uttar Pradesh, the police said, adding that they have recovered a country-made pistol, chilly powder and a rope from them. Acting on information received that some robbers of ‘Muradabadi gang’ would come near Japani Park in Rohini area of the city, a police team laid a trap there and at around 0040 hrs on the intervening night of July 20-21 five people came there on two motorcycles and assembled near gate number three of the park.
