Jhajjar (Haryana), January 07: A no-confidence motion was today passed against Beri Municipal Committee chief Ranvir Singh at a council meeting held here.
Beri Sub-divisional Magistrate Sant Lal chaired the meeting wherein 11 councillors took part.
All votes went in favour of the no-confidence motion while the MC chief along with one loyal councillor choose to stay away from the meeting.
The SDM said the date for election of new MC chief will be announced later.
