Mumbai: India’s most-wanted Dawood Ibrahim is going to attend the wedding of his nephew to the daughter of a Mumbai businessman.
According to Times of India, Dawood will be ‘virtually’ witnessing the wedding via Skype.
Alishah Parkar the youngest son of Dawood’s deceased sister, Haseena Parkar is marrying Ayesha Nagani a girl from the Memon community.
The Nikaah will be held on 17th August at Rasool mosque in south Mumbai and reception will take place at Juhu’s Tulip Star hotel, reported TOI.
“Over a dozen Mumbai police personnel will keep a close watch on the proceedings to see if any underworld elements attend the function,” said an unnamed senior police officer to MidDay adding, “Constables in plainclothes will not only keep vigil, but will even jot down the details of cars at the reception.”
