Mumbai Port Trust has published vacancy advertisement of Trade Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the entry year 2017 – 2018.
Eligible Male and Female Graduates / ITI / Diploma Holders apply in the prescribed offline application for engagement of Graduate Apprentice / Technician Apprentice and PASAA Computer Apprentice posts.
The last date for receipt of applications is 17th May 2018. The period of apprentice training only 01 year for all category apprenticeship posts.

Age Limit: The age limit will be as per the rules and regulations and provision contained in Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) i.e. the applicant should not be less than 14 years of age on 01/05/2018 and there will be no upper age limit.
Stipend (Per Month):
| PASAA –> | ₹ 8189/- or as applicable under Apprentices Act, 1961 |
| Graduate Apprentice –> | ₹ 4984/- or as applicable under Apprentices Act, 1961 |
| Technician Apprentice –> | ₹ 3542/- or as applicable under Apprentices Act, 1961 |
Educational Qualifications:
| PASAA –> | ITI or National Certificate Exam passed in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade, |
| Graduate Apprentice –> | Degree (BE / B.Tech) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Technology. |
| Technician Apprentice –> | Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Technology. |
Application Fee: The cost of application form will be ₹ 20/- and it will be accepted in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) / Demand Draft (DD) / Banker’s Cheque/ Pay Order payable at Mumbai in favour of “The Board of Trustees of the Port of Mumbai”.
Selection Process: The selection only based on percentage of marks obtained in minimum qualification Degree / Diploma / ITI.
How to Apply: Applicants are first required to register their online application through NATS MIS Web Portal (For Graduate / Technician Apprentice) / NCVT MIS Web Portal (For PASAA). The prescribed application form of Mumbai Port Trsut (MbPT) available on or before 17/05/2018.
