Mumbai, October 23: In a bizarre train accident in Mumbai, a water pipeline along with part of a bridge fell on a moving train between Mulund and Thane station. The water pipeline was part of the bridge above the railway tracks and was being dismantled for a new one when the incident happened.
This has caused disruption all of services on Mumbai’s very important Central Railway train services.
The motorman is said to be still stuck in the train even as the emergency fire brigade has been pressed into rescuing people and removing the debris. So far no casualties have been reported. Five people have been injured.
