Hyderabad: The Mumbai Special Police conducted raids on former rowdy-sheeter Shaik Wahid’s residence at Madannapet in the Old City today.
It may be mentioned here that a person from Uttar Pradesh was caught by the Mumbai police recently and during questioning he uttered the name of Shaik Wahid. Consequently, the Mumbai police raided Wahid’s residence today. The police seized 9MM country-made pistol in the raids.
As part of the case, the Mumbai police conducted a thorough checking in the Shaik Wahid’s residence with the help of local police. The Mumbai police, however, made it clear that they didn’t get any bullets and weapons in the raid. (NSS)
