A five-storey building near Dockyard Road in Mumbai collapsed in the wee hours on Friday.
According to reports, the incident happened at 6:25 am. At least 40 people are believed to be trapped under the debris.
At least 20 people have sustained injuries in the incident and they have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The building reportedly belongs to the BMC and is said to be 50-year-old.
