Mulayam inaugurates Lohia Bhawan

New Delhi: Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today inaugurated Lohia Bhawan, built in the memory of the late socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia here.

The Bhawan will function as a centre to spread Lohia’s ideology. “We will collect books on Lohia and keep at the library here. This centre will help spread Lohia’s ideology,” Yadav said.

The SP supremo said he was “fortunate” to have worked with the veteran leader and asked the youth wing of SP to follow Lohia’s principles by “working hard and honestly”.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by SP’s Rajya Sabha member Ramgopal Yadav, former party parliamentarian Amar Singh, Uttar Pradesh Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav and former chief justice of Delhi High Court Rajinder Sachar, among others.
