On the direction of Minister for Minority Welfare, Awqaf and Urdu Academy, Mr. Mohammed Ahmedullah, a review meeting will be held today at conference Hall, J Block, secretariat to chalk out the arrangements for Muharram.
Secretary Minority Welfare Mr. M Dana Kishore and Hyderabad district collector Mr. S M Rizvi will take stock of the arrangements along with officials of various departments, public representatives besides Shia groups and anjumans.
Minority Welfare Minister Mr. Mohammed Ahmedullah has requested the forests department to arrange elephant for Yaum-e-Ashora. He appealed to carry out rehearsal ahead of Yaum-e-Ashora so that the elephant may get used to the presence of public.
