Muhammed Ali’s ex-wife says their marriage was best time of her life

Muhammed Ali’s former wife, Khalilah Camacho Ali, who was married to the iconic boxer from 1967 to 1977, has revealed that their 10-year marriage was the best time of her entire life.

According to the Wrap, while talking about PBS’s new documentary ‘ Trials of Muhammad Ali ‘, Camacho Ali said that nobody realizes that Muhammad wasn’t the great Muhammad Ali as he is now, but he was struggling in that direction at the time, the Huffington Post reported.

Camacho Ali said that she was the one “who held everything together” while her former husband was busy struggling with the world.

Camacho Ali asserted that she supported Muhammed financially for three years and also gave him guidance, positiveness and emotional support when he needed it.

She added that she encouraged Muhammed, who is battling Parkinson’s disease now, to become a people’s champ. (ANI)
