Mumbai, May 27: After playing a strong supporting role in her debut film FASHION, Mugdha Godse was pretty much riding high. In fact she was also signed by Madhur Bhandarkar for his very next film JAIL where she was the solo heroine. This was the time when Rohit Shetty approached her for a relatively smaller part in his laugh entertainer ALL THE BEST and Mugdha consented immediately. However, he didn’t cast her for his next film GOLMAAL 3. Didn’t she feel let down?
“Why should I feel like that”, questions Mugdha, “In any case the film had place only for one girl in the film and that was taken up by Kareena Kapoor. It was fair after all. Of course, it would have been fantastic had Rohit roped me in as well but then he plans things way in advance. His cast for GOLMAAL 3 was already blocked quite some time back.”
One still wonders though that next time around, when Rohit starts a sequel to ALL THE BEST (which is pretty much on the anvil) or plans his next, would she be approaching him and telling him that ‘Hey, I deserve a role, so do remember me this time around’?
