New Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Saturday condemned the lynching of an alleged cow smuggler from Saharanpur by a mob in Himachal Pradesh, and added that people cannot and should not be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
Sayeed said incidents like the Dadri lynching case and the ink attack on BJP ideologue Sudheendra Kulkarni also made people ‘insecure’, and this did not bode well for the country. (ANI)
