Mufti Mohammad Qasim Siddiqui Taskheer has been awarded PhD degree in Arabic by the Osmania University.
He submitted his thesis under the supervision of Hafiz and Qari Dr. Shaikh Ahmed Mohiuddin, retired Reader of Lateefia Arabic College.
Because of non availability of related literature in India he visited Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates to collect the required material for his thesis.
He has been serving as Deputy Mufti at Jamia Nizamia for the past four years. He has been compiling column ‘Aap ke masael aur sharai ahkam’ in Siasat’s Sunday edition for the past 6 years. Besides this he also compiles Siasat’s religious edition published every Friday.
