Mufti Khaleel Ahmed lauds Siasat for arranging funeral rites of unclaimed Muslim bodies

Hyderabad: Siasat editor Mr. Zahid Ali Khan began the social service of arranging funeral rites of unclaimed Muslim bodies in the year 2003. 4002 Muslim bodies have been buried so far. The funeral prayer of 4001st and 4002nd unclaimed bodies was performed in the premises of Jamia Nizamia, the noted Islamic seminary of the sub continent, after Zohr prayers. Shaikul Jamia Mufti Khaleel Ahmed led the funeral prayer and head Mufti of Jamia Nizamia Mufti Mohammed Azeemuddin said the supplication. A large number of scholars, clerics and students of Jamia attended the funeral prayer.

Shaikul Jamia Nizamia Mufti Khaleel Ahmed applauded Siasat editor Mr. Zahid Ali Khan for the exemplary deed of arranging funeral rites of unclaimed Muslim bodies which has no parallels.

It must be noted that Mr. Zahid Ali Khan had received information that Muslim unclaimed bodies were being set ablaze. These appalling reports that the Muslim unclaimed bodies were being set on fire with non-Muslim bodies made Mr. Khan miserable and he decided to undertake the task of arranging burial of unclaimed Muslim bodies through Siasat Millat fund.

Mr. Zahid Ali Khan thanked the charitable persons of the city and abroad with whose cooperation, the arranging of funeral rites of Muslim unclaimed bodies could be made possible.
