Congress senior leader and former APCC president M Satyanarayana Rao has supported the policies of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Speaking to media persons on the occasion of celebration of his 83rd birthday at his residence in Satya Nilayam in MLAs Colony here on Wednesday, Satyanarayana Rao said that the steps being taken by KCR were appropriate for the development of new State of Telangana. He said it takes time for the first government of a new State to settle down. Therefore, the opposition parties should avoid ‘blind criticism’ against the TRS Government. He said KCR needs to take some tough decision in order to stabilise his government in the State.
Satyanarayana Rao also alleged that the TDP Government of Andhra Pradesh has been creating obstacles in the development of Telangana. He said Andhra leaders have been trying to dominate over Telangana people despite the bifurcation of the State. He said such moves should be countered unitedly. (INN)
