City Cyber Crime police, CID today arrested a student who did MS in UK for transmitting or publishing of obscene videos on social networking websites.In a release, police here said, during the course of investigation, the police identified the accused Vishal Madipalli of Ramnagar and arrested him.
On interrogation, the accused confessed that the victim became friends on Facebook through common friends and he
initially took her password with sweet talk and started to send obscene content to her friends, is her name. Later he blackmailed her to come to skype video chatting and forced her to strip which the victim had to oblige.
Subsequently, the accused recorded the video of her stripping and threatened the victim that he will misuse
her Email ID and Facebook account.
When the victim informed him that she will go to police for complaint, he started luring her that he will marry
her.The accused further confessed that the victim fought with him after learning that he was having many
relationship with some other girls.
Even after that the accused continued with friendship his relationships with other girls and the complainant
stopped talking to him. In order to avengo her, the accused posted her obscene images on Google Picasa, uploaded her obscene video clippings on different social networking websites and sent the links of those postings to collage group of the victim.
At the instance of the accused, his laptop and a DVD which contained the obscene video clippings of the victim
were seized in the presence of mediators and he is sent for judicial remand, the release added.
