Home Minister of AP. Ms. Sabitha Indira Reddy laid the foundation stone for the new library building at Shamsabad yesterday. On this occasion, she said that Rs. 20 lakh have been sanctioned for this purpose. This library will provide facilities such as computer lab, children’s corner etc.
Some TDP activists alleged that the work of Krishna river has been stopped at the instance of the Home Minister. They demanded to provide drinking water as early as possible.
Home Minister assured that water would be provided to the people of Shamsabad soon. Present on this occasion were Mr. T. Prakash Goud, Chairman, Rajendernagar Municipality, Mr. Ellaiah, Chairman, DC MS, Mr. Mohammed Hafeez, Chairman of the District Libraries, Mr. Ganesh Gupta and President of Telugu Yavata of TDP.
