Stating that Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi had frankly admitted that State governments have failed to protect rights of the physically handicapped persons, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga on Tuesday demanded that the State government solve the problems of the disabled even now.
The MRPS president was speaking at the dharna program organized by the Vikalangula Hakkula Porata Samithi at the Uppal crossroads here this morning. He also called upon the people to teach a fitting lesson to the Congress for its failure to respond to the problems of the disabled persons. He also announced that they would organize rasta rokos all over the State on February 28 and Chalo Assembly program on March 3. (NSS)
