Hyderabad: ‘Aiwan-e-Fankaar’ and ‘Fools Paradise’ are arranging a cultural program at 6 p.m. on Saturday, 2nd April at Urdu Hall, Himayath Nagar to felicitate Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily on his getting the prestigious award from ‘Muslim Mirror’. Resident Editor of Times of India, Mr. Kingshuk Nag will preside over the function. Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Dy. CM of Telangana, Mr. Prashant Chintala, Resident Editor of The Hindu, Prof. Anees-ul-Haq (Nanded) and Mr. Abdul Raheem Khan, Secretary of Anjuman-e-Taraqui-e-Urdu, Hyderabad will be the guests of honour.
Mr. Mustafa Ali Sarwari, Associate Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism of MANUU, Mr. Mohammed Mahboob Khan Asghar will read articles on the personality of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan and the community services rendered by Siasat Urdu Daily.
Qari Syed Shawkatullah Ghori will recite Quranic verses and Dr. Tayyab Pasha Qadri will present Nath. The students of Central Public School, Khilwath will present an Anthem. Dr. Humaira Sayeed will welcome the guest. Dr. Moin Amar Bamboo will introduce the cultural associations. Mr. Yousufuddin Yousuf will propose vote of thanks. Dr. Javeed Kamal, Convener of the function has requested the Urdu lovers to attend the function.
After the felicitation function, a humorous Mushaira will be held in which Mr. Waheed Pasha Qadri, Ms. Tasneem Johar, Mr. Lateefuddin Lateef, Mr. Yousufuddin Yousuf, Mr. Najeeb Ahmed Najeeb, Dr. Moin Amar Bamboo and Dr. Tayab Pasha Qadri will recite their poems.
