Hyderabad: Extravagant expenditure in Muslim marriages has made the community bankrupt. Muslims are borrowing money on interest for performing the marriages of their daughters. They are disposing of their properties and mortgaging their ornaments. Allah (Swt) ordered not to spend unnecessarily in wedding ceremonies.
Mr. Mushtaq Malik, President of Muslim Shibban welcomed the decision of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor Siasat Urdu Daily to boycott Muslim marriages in which unnecessary expenses are incurred. He told that Mr. Zahid Ali Khan turned in into a social campaign. He advised the Muslims to follow his footsteps.
