Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily applauded the approval of Telangana Bill by the Central Cabinet but expressed his reservations about keeping Law and Order situation under Governor’s control. He requested the political parties to express their views openly after reviewing the bill so that the Law and Order situation in the Municipal limits could be under the control of Telangana government.
Mr. Zahid Ali Khan recalled that during the past 60 years, thousands of youths have sacrificed their lives. The decision of the Center would be for the bright future of the Telangana State. He further told that all the parties should ensure equal justice for the Muslims in the fields of employment, Education and industry. The Muslims should get proportionate share in Govt. jobs.
He advised the political parties to refrain from celebrating any feast on 6th December as it recalls the demolition of Babri Masjid. Telangana supporters should honour the sentiments of the Muslims in order to maintain Ganga Jamuna civilization of the city.
