According to the information furnished by Prof. Shafay Kidwayi of the Department of Mass Communication, Aligarh Muslim University, his brother, noted Columnist, Mr. Nafay Kidwayi passed away in Lucknow. He was suffering from Kidney problems. Mr. Nafay Kidwayi used to write regularly about various issues pertaining to UP for a long time for Siasat Urdu Daily. He hailed from a very respectable and educationist family of Lucknow. He was a grandson of Maulana Abdul Majid Daryabadi.
