Mr. Mohammed Ansari is appointed as Head of the Dept of Linguistics, OU for the first time in the history of the University during the past 50 years. Mr. Ansari is functioning as Director of Minorities Cell of OU. He is also associated with Minority Rights Protection Committee which is an NGO. He has been counseling for admissions to Minority student for various courses. Prof. S.Satyanarayana, V.C. of OU appointed him as the Head of the Dept. of Linguistics taking into consideration his services and Seniority. Minority Communities of the State are expressing delight on his appointment as Head of the Dept. of Linguistics of OU.
