Nawab Mir Moazzam Hussain son of Nawab Mir Diyanath Hussain and Son-in-law of Prof. Agha Hyder Hussain passed away after a brief illness. He was 99 years old. He is survived by wife, 3 sons and 2 daughters. He joined Hyderabad Civil Service and served as Collector in various district till 1948. After the merger of Erstwhile Hyderabad State into Indian Union, he was appointed as C.M. of Central Princely State. He was also appointed as Senior Director of UNESCO (France).
Mr. Zahid Ali Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily, Nawab Ehteram Ali Khan (Salarjung Museum), Nawab Rafath Ali Khan, Prof. Rahmath Yousuf Zai and others paid homage to him. He was buried in Nawab Fakhrul-Mulk shrine in Panjagutta.
