Mr. R. Mahinder Reddy, Deputy Collector has been appointed as District Minorities Welfare Officer of Ranga Reddy District for a period of 1 year on deputation basis. Ms. Neelam Sahani, IAS Principal Secretary, Dept. of Minorities Welfare issued these orders yesterday. Mr. M.A. Hameed, Executive Officer of Minorities Finance Corporation was holding additional charge of this post. It may be noted that many posts of district minorities welfare officers are still vacant. As per rules, only Govt. officials could be entrusted with these responsibilities and no officer of any corporation can be appointed to these posts.
