The founder of MBT, Mr. Mohammed Amanullah, former MLA of A.P. Assembly was remembered on the occasion of his 14th death anniversary. A function was organized by MBT under the chairmanship of Dr. Qayam Khan. The participants told that Mr. Amanullah Khan never used to allow the Govt. to function in the Assembly till a satisfactory reply was not given. He never compromise with the Govt. in power on Muslim issues. Mr. Tariq Qadri, Mr. Majeedullah Khan Farhath, Maulana Syed Tahir and Mr. Altaf Naseeb Khan addressed the gathering. Mr. Sikandar Mirza conducted the meeting.
Mr. Tareeq Quadri told that the land grabbers were not dare enough to grab Wakf lands during his life time. He was the only person who caught hold of the collar of the American Ambassador and forced him to apologize on the blasphemy for Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Mr. Amanullah Khan played a key role in the protection of Wakf land belonging to Eidgah Gootla Begumpet which is worth Rs. 2000 crore.
