General Secretary MPJ Khaja Moinuddin and Dr. Naseeruddin Vice president on the occasion of their usual visit to Cherlapally and Chanchalguda Central jails met Superintendent, jailor and other officers. They sought information regarding such prisoners who are still in jail, despite competing their term, either because they could not afford to pay the fine or due to ignorance of their family regarding legal action.
MPJ provided legal and financial help to such prisoners and released 13 prisoners. Besides that on the request of Vijayawada MPJ unit financial help was also provided to a reverted Muslim woman in Vijayawada for legal action. Prisoners were also released from Kareem Nagar and Warangal jails by way of financial and legal help.
