According to Khaja Moinuddin, General Secretary Movement for Peace and Justice Telangana, MPJ provided financial and legal help and freed 17 innocent, poor prisoners from Central Jail besides those who despite completing their term were languishing in jail as they couldn’t afford to pay the fine or are unaware of legal procedure.
He said freeing of prisoners is also continued in other jails of Telangana state.
