Bhopal: Government of Madhya Pradesh has issued an order to increase the upper age limit to apply for government posts. For direct recruitment, it has increased to 40 years.
On Thursday, State government issued a directive to all departments that the age limits for the recruitment to gazetted, non-gazetted and executive through Public Service Commission will be 21-40 years.
For third and fourth grade posts, the age limit is 18-40 years. Candidates belonging to SCs, STs and OBCs will get a relaxation of 5 years.
It may be mentioned that last month citing the Supreme Court’s directive, the maximum age limit was set as 35 years.
