MP to train woman inmates to become beauticians

Indore: Madhya Pradesh government today started a centre in jail premises here for imparting training to woman prisoners to become beauticians.
The centre, inaugurated by District Collector P Narhari, will help women to earn a living after their release.
Narhari said the state government has launched a slew of schemes to empower women and under which the centre has been set up in the prison.
“Training will imparted to these women through city-based Regional Vocational Training Institute for Women,” Manjula Tiwari, Deputy Director, Woman’s Empowerment Department, said.
