MP K Kavitha, on behalf of the Telangana University in Nizamabad, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chicago State University for student exchange programmes between the two universities.
“As per the MoU, the two universities can now exchange their students, curriculum, professors and other education related information,” said a release here on Thursday. Research scholars of Telangana University, who completed their first year in the State, can continue their second year in the Chicago State University.
Meanwhile, during her tour of the US, the Indian Consulate General in Chicago Dr Sayeed organized a party to the visiting MP. Addressing the people present at the function, Kavitha urged the Consulate General to encourage NRIs and other industrialists there to invest in Telangana.
Kavitha also visited the Entrepreneur Incubation Centre at the 1871 Trade Centre. She called for a similar centrer to be set up in Telangana too
