Bhopal, March 21: Madhya Pradesh has plans to bring in force in the state a stringent law on the lines of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
A bill in this regard was introduced in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Thursday by state home minister Uma Shanker Gupta.
Once the bill is passed, the state will have a proper law to deal effectively with terrorism and other such nefarious activities, Gupta said.
The bill would have provisions to deal strictly not only with terrorists but also those who harbour them, he added.
It will come up for discussion in the Assembly tomorrow and on Tuesday.
