Taking suo motu cognisance of news reports in this regard, the Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) has sought an explanation from the Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).

The incident took place during MPPSC preliminary exam held on February 12 at SATI Exam Centre in Vidisha, about 50km from the state capital.
