MP: Differently-abled girl raped in Damoh; accused arrested

New Delhi: Earlier in November, the director of a centre for differently-abled children in Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh was arrested for allegedly raping two minors. The medical examination of the girls confirmed that the two had been raped.

The accused was arrested following the family of the victim filed a police complaint against him.

A case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 376 ans POSCO act has been registered against the director.

The accused allegedly raped the girl when she went to defecate.

The probe is underway in the incident, police said.
